State Fire School helps firefighters and emergency personnel extend their knowledge and expertise. The hands-on training at State Fire School is not limited to fire—the School also offers numerous other classes, ranging from vehicle extrication to rope rescue techniques.

Firefighter to run marathon in effort to raise money for children
April 17, 2008
Patrick M. Conrey, a firefighter/EMT from Clearwater, Florida, will run the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon in full turnout in an effort to raise money for the children of Oscar Armstrong II and Captain Robin Broxterman, both of whom died in the line of duty.
