- This program reaches more than 1200 fire and EMS professionals each year. These men and women are dedicated public servants and many of them hold other jobs within the community. This event provides a focused training environment and gives many small and large departments the updated training that is crucial to their success.

- This program provides professional development to the men and women who protect our houses, our automobiles and, most importantly, our families every day.
To support Emergency Service Professionals
- State Fire School is offered at Bowling Green State University, but this program is totally self-supporting. We do not receive state money or student tuition and rely 100% on participant registration fees to run the extensive courses. Your sponsorship will off-set expenses and help keep down the cost of the training. It is our mission to ensure that State Fire School is accessible to all fire departments, regardless of financial constraints.
- Many times State Fire School participants contact us to tell us that they learned something at SFS that saved another person’s life. Sometimes they call to say that they have saved their co-worker’s life. This training is so important to all of us as part of the larger community. SFS needs your help to keep the cost of high quality training affordable and available to every emergency response professional. Firefighters, EMTs, Paramedics, and Industrial Brigade members are committed to making sacrifices for the safety of the citizens in their communities. Many of these people are willing to pay for training out of their own pockets when their department’s training budgets can’t cover the costs, but they shouldn’t have to. Help SFS to make this invaluable training accessible to all who want to attend. The benefits to the individual and the community are immeasurable.
