Russ Born, W. Born & Associates, Inc
Russ Born is president of W. Born & Asscoiates, Inc. and is the designer, manager and lead instructor of Vertical Reality Training Center. He has been the lead instructor for Advance Rope Rescue since 1984. He is a member of NASAR and became a member of SPRAT (Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians) in 1996 to help create a consensus standard (Safe Work Practices for Rope Access). In January 2001, he was one of the first to complete the certification evaluation testing necessary to be a Certified Rope Access Technician.
