Confined Space Technician

 

Description
For rescuers who want to participate in hands-on rescue operations in confined spaces that include industrial equipment from the major refineries in the Oregon area.
 
You will work through several rescue evolutions to gain experience in different techniques. This program is very physical - be prepared for a busy week.

Special Requirements
Prerequisites for this class: Rope Rescue Operations, Trench Rescue Awareness. This course includes Confined Space Awareness and Operations. You must have appropriate PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, gloves, coveralls, appropriate shoes, air pack, flashlight and kneepads.
