EMS Instructor

 

Description
This course will provide you with the credentials to instructor initial training programs and medical director approved continuing education throughout the state of Ohio. This course will provide the resources to create a positive learning environment, and is student driven. Accreditation by Medcorp (#401).

Special Requirements
You must have a certificate as an EMT, RN or paramedic, and five years experience in EMS. You must pass an assessment test. You can register for this test online at www.nremt.org. You must also pass a practical exam at an accredited program and bring documentation to the first class OR you can take the practical exam on the first day of class at State Fire School (no extra charge).

Required Textbook
You must purchase and bring Foundations of Education, An EMS Approach.
