Confined Space Rescue

 

Description
This class is for rescuers who want to participate in hands-on rescue operations in confined spaces including industrial equipment from the major refineries in the Oregon, Ohio area. You will work through several rescue evolutions to gain experience in different techniques. This program is very physical - be prepared for a busy week. The instructors for this course are from Oregon Fire Department, Sunoco Refinery and the BP Refinery Rescue Team.

Special Requirements
You should have basic rope rescue training and in-line and air pack knowledge. You must have appropriate PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, gloves, coveralls, appropriate shoes, air pack, flashlight and kneepads. This class is conducted in Oregon, Ohio. You are responsible for your own transportation. Housing is available in Oregon, Ohio.
