Description For all intermediate EMT's and Paramedics who want the opportunity to observe and perform skills on a deeply anesthetized animal* in a controlled clinical setting. You will get real hands-on practice with: pleural decompression, intraosseous infusion, needle cricothyrotomy, cardiac monitoring, and electrical therapy. You will be able to observe perfusing cardiorespiratory anatomy as well as the effects of IV infusion and cardiac drug therapy. ** Animal use in this lab is approved by the University of Toledo Division of EMS Education IACUC. The University of Toledo Division of EMS Education animal care program is USDA registered and inspected and is AAALAC, Inc. accredited
