You will review topics such as vehicle anatomy, scene safety, stabilization, basic and advanced rescue techniques, supplemental restraint systems, and new vehicle technology. You will spend a majority of class time on the training ground, working with tools from the best manufacturers in a challenging variety of scenarios. There will be an extrication competition on the last day. This class meets/exceeds the NFPA 1670 and 1006 standards for Vehicle Rescue Awareness, Operations and Technician level of training.
