Description For experienced or recently promoted pump operators (engineers-drivers) who want to sharpen their professional skills.The class focuses on protecting heavy industry, commercial buildings, shopping malls, high-rise structures, heavily populated residential areas and other specialized hazards in cities served by municipal water systems and hydrants. You will examine various tactics for supplying and using standpipe systems by fire service agencies, sprinkler systems, elevated aerial streams, master stream application, foam and water supply and hydraulic problems. You will get plenty of hands-on training in this class, including exercises in a high-rise building and multiple vehicle fires. Special Requirements Turn-out gear is required
