Elevator Emergency Rescue - 1 Day Class

 

Description
For anyone who needs to know proper techniques to safely remove occupants from elevators cars and hoistways.
 
In-class time will be devoted to information on the different types of elevators, their construction and operating systems. You will spend the hands-on part of the class in machine rooms, elevator shafts, and pit areas of hydraulic and cable elevators. The use of elevator keys and other methods of opening entry doors will be covered and information on the fire service recall will be presented.

Special Requirements
You must bring a flashlight.
