Description
For rescuers who have advanced skills in dive search and rescue who wish to prepare for the role of diving supervisor.
The extensive classroom and field training will include planning, diving qualification and fitness, equipment inspection and selection, implementation of continued training, dive rescue for team members, introduction to Surface Supplied Diving and handling of several operational scenarios. Special Requirements
Participants must have completed a Search/Rescue course and have had a diving physical. Bring personal dive gear, dive slate and stopwatch. You must bring a copy of a statement from your physician that you are fit to dive. You must have completed a Public Safety Dive class.
