Finding and Securing Alternate Funding Sources for Your Department - 1 Day Class

Description
For people who have never attempted to write a grant proposal and those with limited experience.

You will learn how to electronically search for research grants and other sources of funding, including fundraising ideas, that are a fit for your organization. You will also learn the basics of how to write a successful grant proposal, specifically the elements that most funding agencies, including FEMA, look for. The instructor is familiar with sources of funding for fire and EMS and will work with you on specific grant applications if you bring them to class.
