Electrical Awareness

 

Description
For all emergency responders who need to know how to recognize and handle electrical hazards. You will learn how to differentiate between all types of downed wires that you may encounter. Additonal topics that will be covered are: how electrical power is generated and transmitted, utility poles and equipment, and installations that are overhead, underground, residential, and commercial. Case histories and appropriate response to electrical emergecies will be discussed. The class will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 8 am - 5 pm
