Advanced Fire Investigation - NFPA 921

Description
For investigators who have completed basic fire investigation training and are seeking advanced training in the forensics of fire origin and cause.
 
You will investigate recreated cases and learn to collect and preserve evidence and complete reports. Arson profiling, comprehensive crime investigation procedures, legal considerations and preparing for trial will all be covered.

Special Requirements
The curriculum focuses on the responsibilities of public fire and law enforcement investigators who have completed basic fire investigation courses. Please bring boots, gloves and a helmet. A digital camera and laptop computer are helpful if they are available.

Approved for 1 credit hour
